Long before the implementation of the Act began in right earnest in February 2008, we had started people’s awareness camps with regards to the provisions of the Act, which we had discussed many a times for while discussing the draft and suggesting various amendments. In the beginning of the 2008, after the Act was notified and Rules were made, we prepared a small booklet (see the FRA booklet in Gujarati) explaining all the crucial and necessary provisions of the Act in a simple language, which was very extensively bought and used by the tribals across the state.
